Taiwan-based Rare Gems is once again impressing buyers at the Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show with its stunning necklace set with two emerald centre stones – a pear-shaped 127.19-carat emerald and a 140.42-carat cushion-shaped emerald, both from Colombia.
The exceptional piece is embellished with fine-quality diamonds weighing a total of 92.85 carats. The necklace contains 126.28 grams of gold. Both Colombian emeralds come with gemmological reports.
“Such large stones are very rare and difficult to find nowadays,” said company owner Monto Badhalia. “With these stones, we want to create something very special for collectors. This is why my wife (Bela) and I thought of using both emeralds in one necklace.”
“We call this necklace ‘opulence meets elegance,’” said company creative director Bela Badhalia. “It combines the best of both worlds.”
It took Rare Gems three months to finish its latest masterpiece.
A supplier of fine-quality loose gemstones, Rare Gems also designs and manufactures customised, handcrafted jewellery collections that are sure to dazzle collectors and serious jewellery enthusiasts.
“We design around our special stones; hence, our objective is to make sure that the gems’ colours and brilliance are beautifully showcased,” Bela said in an earlier interview.
Rare Gems is presenting its extraordinary collection in Hall 10 (Booth Number D06) at the AsiaWorld-Expo. Its selection includes the finest sapphires, tsavorites, rubies, alexandrites and tourmalines to name a few.
