Hong Kong-based Unique Brilliant Ltd is drawing attention to three exceptional coloured gemstone jewellery pieces at this year’s Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.
Top-billing its offerings is a rare 15.36-carat heart-shaped Padparadscha sapphire from Sri Lanka, which can be worn as a ring or pendant. The stone, which has a flawless pastel Padparadscha colour with excellent fire, is further accentuated with diamonds.

Another one-of-a-kind piece at Unique Brilliant’s booth is a ring adorned with a 6.39-carat Pigeon’s Blood ruby of Burmese origin with diamond accents. A ring with a 15.90-carat jadeite centre gem and diamonds is also being offered to buyers.

Unique Brilliant produces mainly bespoke pieces with unheated Burmese rubies; fine imperial jadeite; Kashmir, Burmese and Sri Lankan sapphires; and emeralds from Colombia and Afghanistan.It also uses D-colour, Type IIA white diamonds and fancy colour diamonds to accentuate its jewellery pieces.
