Visitors to Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong will enjoy a stellar lineup of special events revolving around the theme, #ILoveJewellery.
Aimed at helping the public make well-informed decisions on their purchases, the #ILoveJewellery Salon offers styling tutorials, engaging jewellery talks and educational sessions on basic gem and jewellery knowledge.
Conducted in Cantonese, the sessions take place at various special events areas within the show.

Hong Kong actress, model and KOL Kathryn Wong shares styling tips in Glam Up Your #OOTD With Jewellery! Covering tried-and-tested jewellery and outfit-of-the-day pairings for every possible occasion, her 45-minute tutorial will help jewellery aficionados define their personal style. Wong’s sessions take place on Saturday, June 26. Her 11am talk will be held at the I Love Jewellery Salon B, while her 5pm session will be at Salon A.
In An Insider’s Trick to Accessorising, multi-awarded fashion designer and artist Meiyi Cheung unveils key trends, discusses the role of jewellery in fashion and reveals tips to transform one’s look by mixing and matching jewellery pieces of different shapes, sizes and materials. Cheung will share her insights at Salon A on June 25 at 2pm and at Salon B on June 27 at 3pm.
Custom jewellery designer Rosemary Chung, for her part, tackles Pearl Jewellery Styling. The founder of Rosemary Chung and Tantra will show visitors how to embellish everyday outfits with classic and modern pearl jewellery pieces. Her June 25 tutorial will be held at 4pm at Salon A, while her session on June 27 takes place at 2pm at Salon B.
Leading industry personalities will likewise be imparting valuable insights on different facets of the gem and jewellery trade throughout the four-day show.
Today, Tommy Tsui, laboratory consultant of Luk Fook Group, is delivering an engrossing presentation on Precious Metal for Jewellery. He will delve into mankind’s enduring fascination with gold and how it has captured people’s imagination in the decorative arts throughout the ages.
Content creator and communications expert Mabel Au-Yeung takes one on a heady journey to the world’s jewellery capitals in her Stories of Famous Jewellery Brands session. Exploring fabulous jewels and the stories behind their brands, she lifts the veil on these celebrated names’ creativity, innovation and craftsmanship.
And today’s Know Your Gemstones session casts the spotlight on jadeite jade. Yen Kwan, vice principal of the Hong Kong Institute of Gemmology, will present The Past & Future of Fei Cui Design. Kwan, a Fei Cui expert and jewellery designer, will trace the evolution of Fei Cui jewellery designs and styles from the Qing Imperial Court to modern times. He will also share outstanding examples of Fei Cui jewellery piees showcasing Chinese craftsmanship and even Western-inspired designs.
