Genevan watchmaker Hublot presented some of its unique pieces at a mini exhibition held from June 12 to 18 in Tokyo.
The luxury brand exhibited its traditional watchmaking heritage and contemporary designs at Isetan Shinjuku. Titled “HUBLOT presents Life with WATCH – Colorful Time,” the exhibit showcased watches produced in collaboration with Mika Ninagawa, a renowned photographer in Japan.
On the opening day, Ninagawa delivered a special talk with Kaori Takagiwa, editor-in-chief of DAZZLE women’s fashion magazine. The two speakers offered advice on how to coordinate watches and fashion.
At the event, special watches with limited-edition straps incorporating three of Ninagawa’s works were put on sale. The special items will soon be available at the Hublot boutique in Ginza.
