French high jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels pays homage to art and its invaluable role in the fashion, luxury and jewellery industries throughout the 20th century in an exhibition in Taiwan.
With the theme, “Art of Clip,” the exhibition features a selection of high-end brooches and clips from the group’s illustrious collections.
“Composed of 91 pieces from the end of the 1910s to the 1970s, this ensemble gives an overview of the evolution of art, decorative art and fashion throughout the 20th century,” the jewellery house said.
Inspired by nature and feminine figures, these creations mainly come in platinum and gold, and are adorned with various gemstones, including rubies, sapphires, emeralds, onyx stones, enamel and diamonds.
The “Art of Clip” exhibition is being held until September 21 at Spot Taipei, Taipei.
