Indian gemstone and jewellery industry players are taking centre stage at the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair. The India Pavilion, organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, will house 100 leading suppliers who will showcase a range of intricately designed jewellery pieces for discerning buyers.
India’s most celebrated jewellers are showcasing their artistry and design prowess at this year’s September Fair. Exhibiting in the India Pavilion, the companies are presenting exquisite and timeless creations that cater to a wide range of consumers.
This year, pavilion organiser Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), is setting up an exclusive India Design Gallery to shine the spotlight on jewellery pieces by India’s most talented designers. According to GJEPC, the designs are based on the theme, COSMOS, which represents prevailing consumer trends in the jewellery sector in 2020. The products illustrate varied cosmic elements in the form of rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets and head pieces.
“The Indian jewellery industry today is at its peak. Through the India Design Gallery, our country’s design talents, exemplary skills and superior manufacturing capabilities are manifested to the world,” remarked Pramod Kumar Agrawal, chairman of GJEPC.
