Pearl inspection at DANAT
The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) is shining the spotlight on a broad range of authentication and verification services for pearls, gemstones and finished jewellery at the June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair.
The gem lab, founded in 2017, is providing complimentary consultations with DANAT’s expert gemmologists at its booth. Visitors can also review samples of its various verification reports – the Premium Report, Supreme Report, Standard Identification Report and micro-card report – and get more details from DANAT’s Client Services Representatives.
The Supreme Report is actually debuting at the June Fair. Presented in a luxurious trifold folder, the report is designed for high-quality items requiring a more prestigious presentation of the results detailed in the Standard Pearl Identification Report.
DANAT is likewise showcasing its newly launched gemmological courses. These include the Natural, Cultured & Imitation Pearls Introduction scheduled for July 22 to 26, 2018 and Gemstone Introduction: Faceting slated on July 11 and 12, 2018.
Exhibiting for the first time at the June show, DANAT wants to promote Bahrain as an international hub for gemmological excellence as well as its rich pearling heritage.
“We expect the prime location and size of our booth to impress visitors and exhibitors alike. We foresee a lot of visitors coming to our booth for the complimentary consultations. We also anticipate a lot of interest in our educational courses and report range, particularly the newly launched pearl course and the Supreme Report,” continued DANAT.
DANAT also has a private bonded warehouse within its premises in Bahrain, which enables items submitted for testing from abroad to be brought directly to DANAT. No duty is applied to items that pass through DANAT’s bonded warehouse facility.
